Wooden Interior Shutters
Add Value to your property
Not only do wooden shutters look great, but they add
real value to your property. If you love daylight, but prefer not to offer your neighbours a
view of your room, shutters are the ideal solution. Wood shutters are adjustable to allow
exactly the right amount of light into your room without you ever feeling
overlooked.
Good light and privacy
control
With Interior shutters (sometimes called Plantation
Shutters) you choose how to light your room. Deflect light down or up. Shut light out
completely or allow it to stream in freely.
Easy to maintain
Internal shutters are easy to maintain as they can be
dusted and once a year you can give them a wash with warm soapy water. to keep your shutters
in pristine showroom condition.
Versatile in
difficult situations
Because shutters can be made into almost any
shape you can often solve your window dressing problem. You can have arched shutters, triangle
shutters and even round porthole shutters. They always look good in these difficult
situations.
Unlike curtains, blinds or voiles, Wooden shutters can
be engineered to perfectly fit almost any shape of window - Arches, Portholes, Patio Doors,
French Windows, Corner Apertures - in fact windows of every shape and size. Choose your
shutters carefully: once they are installed you should expect them to last for
decades.
If your wood shutters are damaged, it is easy to
repair or replace a shutter blade. Shutters are ideal for those difficult rooms; the kids'
room, the conservatory, the kitchen, and because they don't warp with heat or humidity,
install them in the bathroom too.
Handcrafted to the highest standards using high
quality materials
Each and every component is hand finished to order and
quality checked by craftsmen prior to assembly. This attention to detail continues when we
come to fit your new shutters in your home.

Wooden Shutters
This set of wooden shutters were fitted to a window
in a house in Ascot. The window is next to the front door and there is no reveal to fit to. because
of this the shutter frame was screwed directly onto the window itself. This is unusual as we normally try not to disturb the window and frame. There are
four shutter panels and the slat size is 64mm. The panels all
tilt using a central tilt rod which is standard.
You can select an offset tiltrod or a hidden tilt rod
if you prefer. To get to the window for cleaning the panels are on hinges and open two panels to
each side. hving said this most people only use the tilt operation in normal daily use.
